Dr. Bruno Braga is a pediatric neurosurgeon at the Chidlren's Medical Center and Dallas and an Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery and Pediatrics at UT Southwestern.

 

Dr. Braga's clinical interest entail spinal diseases, brain tumors, traumatic brain injuries, hyrdocephalus, and vascular diseases. He specializes in decompression and instrumentation of the spine to treat traumatic and congenital diseases, microsurgery for removal of brain tumors, and endoscopic surgery.

Dr. Braga earned his medical degree from Universidade Federal De Minas Gerais in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and completed his residency in neurological surgery at the Hospital da Baleia in Belo Horizonte, where he served as an attending neurosurgeon for nine years before he undertook a fellowship in pediatric neurosurgery at UT Southwestern Children's Medical Center.

Dr. Braga offers quality care for his patients by taking a multidisciplinary approach and using new technology to make a difference in the survival and quality of life in pediatric patients. Dr. Bruno Braga balances his life with his family and his career while continuing to inspire others.
